Event Details
Wondering what supports your child could get at school, and how to go about asking for them? This relaxed evening talk in Balbriggan is a chance to find out.
Ciara Watson, founder of Autism Supports, will talk parents and carers through school supports for children, drawing on her years of experience working alongside children, families and educators. Ciara holds a postgraduate qualification in Autism Studies and is known for her practical, positive and family-centred approach.
The evening is aimed at parents and carers of autistic and neurodivergent children, whether you’re just starting to look into supports or already navigating the school system. Grandparents and other family members who want to understand the options a bit better are welcome too.
The talk takes place at Aster Family Resource Centre, 1 St George’s Square, Balbriggan, on Tuesday 10 November at 7pm. It is run in partnership with Aster Family Support, Empower and Tusla.
There’s nothing to bring except your questions. Places are by registration, so email the centre to save your spot.
