Event Details
Belfast’s much-loved Christmas Market is back in the grounds of City Hall from Saturday 14 November to Tuesday 22 December 2026. Entry is free. Wander between the wooden chalets for gifts, crafts and festive treats, grab something hot to eat, and settle into one of the market bars. It’s a lovely spot to meet friends after work, bring visitors from out of town or start a festive day out with the family. The market opens at 12 noon on 14 November, which is also the evening of the Belfast Christmas lights switch-on at City Hall. Monday to Wednesday it opens 10am–8pm, with bars open until 9pm. Thursday to Saturday it opens 10am–10pm, with bars open until 11pm. On Sundays it opens 12 noon–6pm. The market closes at 6pm on Tuesday 22 December.
