Interested in learning a new instrument?

Weekly Individual lessons and ensembles occur from Monday to Saturday. Lesson days and times vary from instrument and are dependent on faculty availability. Each lesson is tailored to each student’s needs and ability.

Want to meet people in the community?

Our community-based choirs and ensembles are the perfect place!

We have 3 choirs divided by age (children, teenagers, adults), which welcomes new members all year.

For adults, there is a FREE drumming ensemble every Wednesday in Athenry. Come along to try something new.

What makes Athenry Music School different?

• Each child has multiple opportunities throughout the year to perform in a concert.
• All classes are taught at the progression rate of the child – we do not impose grades!
• There is no audition process for our ensembles or lessons
• Parents of national school children attend lessons with their children. They are an active part of the learning process
• Parent and student feedback is encouraged in formal and informal settings
• Scholarships are offered to students who would otherwise have to stop their tuition due to financial concerns.

Lesson Fees

• 20min lesson €205 per term
• 30min lesson €265 per term
• 45min lesson: €360 per term
• 60min lesson: €460 per term

• Orchestras/Ensembles: €60 per term (3rd child FREE)
• Choirs:  €50 per term (3rd child FREE)

• Violin / Viola Hire: €20 per term
• All other instruments: €35 per term
